Our class looks like the United Nations. We have 21 classmates and come from six different nationalities. The majority is Asia, such as the six are Korean, one is Thai, one is Vietnamese, six are Chinese including four come from mainland China, one comes from Taiwan and one comes from Hong Kong. The rest of us come from Pacific island and Africa.
Although the majority are Asian, we still have different first language. There are Korean, Thai, Anamneses, Mandarin and Cantonese. The remaining are 1 Kurdish, 1 Farsi, 3 Amharic, 1 Samoan and 1 Tongan. Most of our second language are English. Only one classmate is Farsi and English has become his third languages.
I admire one of our classmates. He only studies English in formal during last years at Unitec in his middle age. The rest of us are study from our childhood in formal or informal learning. Most classmates are going to equip ourselves for future plan, such as study master of landscape design high level of performing art, graphic design, museum, nursing and theology. And also one of us has a special reason is to "make this world slightly better". No matter some of us are strengths in writing and reading, but it also be others weaknesses in English. In addition, I am of the same mind of our classmates said that English is an essential skill in modern world. Consequently, we try to study hard to forge ahead our plan!!!
